A deep space mining vessel - 'Siberia' - propels itself on a collision course with the newly built 'Comstat 5', a satellite communication station and its unsuspecting crew. After the deadly collision, the two space ships are irreversibly locked together, plunging toward the gravitational pull of the planet Mars. The crew are forced to board the mysterious vessel in order to save themselves.
